Franklin On Tour: Reviews

Franklin had my four year and and her friend dancing and participating. It was a good engaging story with a nice message and great music. It is great for 3-5 year olds.
YoungFamily from Edmonton
Franklin was great fun! It was very entertaining and kept My four year old in her seat and interested for the whole show.
LeahsMommy from Winnipeg
Everything was very well played out, their voices were the same as in the TV episodes. My daughter really enjoyed it.

Franklin is for big people too! - The show was great. My 4-year-old granddaughter watched, participated, and applauded all the way through. And Nana too! We loved it!. Thank you, Franklin and Bear and everyone.
Springchicken from Vancouver
The show was fantastic. My son loved it and wants to go see it again!
Jordysmom from Vancouver
Because it was based on one of the episodes, it was most interesting for my children to see a live performance. The 2 mice were a superb addition. It was nice how the children in the audience were involved with the story too.
HappyMomof2 from Vancouver
Great story of working together! My almost three year old son is a huge Franklin fan especially loves the Here Comes Franklin song ! I was worried the story line would be too complicated for him but he seems to have taken it all in and is recounting the whole story! My only two criticisms/suggestions are that the bird that "stole" the necklace was a bit scary for the younger kids and you could hear the scared gasp through the audience when the bird first came out (my little guy had to cover his

My 4.5 year old son loved the show. He likes Franklin (has all his books) and is really into Knights, swords and shields right now so this was perfect. He really likes musicals and loved singing along. Near the end of the show he ran up to the front and sang along. Two thumbs up from a 4.5 year old!
BugTuss from Vancouver
Lots of Singing and dancing.....A must see if you're a Franklin Fan
Sharmia from Vancouver
My son really enjoyed Franklin and his friends. He was singing and clapping along the whole time.
Cryst from Vancouver
This show was great. My two year old loved it. Perfect length for children. I would definitely see it again.
Trasha from Vancouver
It was well done. My son was so happy with show and to me, thats what counts.
Dukless from Vancouver
It was very well done and my kids 4 and 7 really enjoyed it. I liked the music and the story line was very good. I especially liked how towards the end the kids were encouraged to get up and dance and clap during one of the last songs. It came at a perfect time and that break for my kids ensured they were able to sit through the rest of the play.
Momwithtwokids from Edmonton
My 4 yr old loved it. He was dancing in the isle and couln't take his eyes off the stage.
Melo from Edmonton
I took my 3yr old son to this and we both had an amazing time! I would highly recomment this for any parent with small children! Great Jon Franklin!!!
CCCanadianGirl from Edmonton

Fun for the whole family!! My wife and I took our two year old to see Franklin. I'll admit I was a little nervous about how long her attention span would be, but needless to say, I had nothing to be nervous about. Once the performers hit the stage our girl was spellbound. We are fairly sure she didn't blink through the entire show. I'm writing this 4 days after the show and she is still talking about it
HappyDaddy09 from Calgary
The Jubilee was a great venue for this show; great sound quality for musical performances, and small enough that the kids could see the stage clearly from any seat. My son and my friend's son (both almost 3) loved it and the show included all the main characters from the show. It was a little too long for my son, he was ready to go at the intermission but my friend's son had no problem watching the show from start to finish and was really into it (depends on the attention span of your ch

My 2 1/2 year old daughter was spellbound for most of the show. The live action was great and the story was heart warming. All of the children in the audience shouted the names as each character as they came on stage.

I really enjoyed taking my 4 yr old to see Franklin! He was very excited to see all the characters and was familiar with the story. We both enjoyed the songs and the length was appropriate for his age.
Cohora from Edmonton
The girls in our little group (3 four year olds!) loved Franklin - they were bouncing in their seats (literally) and singing along. They had a great time!
mrsgryphon from Edmonton
My children were very excited to see Franklin Live. The story was cute and taught a good message to the kids. They put in a part to get the kids up and running and dancing to keep from getting bored. It was a good length for kids and enjoyable. They did run out of tshirts which seems to happen at alot of these shows if you don't stand in line before the show. The show was overall great for young kids and kept their attention.
lanera from Edmonton
My 3 year old son and I loved the show! It was great - fun and lively! My son was super excited and loved the story and the songs! I would definately recommend this show!
MamaM from Edmonton
Myself, my 4 year old daughter and my Mother all enjoyed it thorougly. Had wonderful seats which helped, 2nd row center. It was very well done, my daughter was completely engaged in the show. Fantastic!
Lynn1 from Edmonton
My daughter and I loved the show. It was full of life and joy. We really liked seeing so many characters and the comedy. It was really nice to have Franklin teach a life lesson also. We would recommend this show to everyone! Young and old. I loved the show.
vanes from Calgary
My daughter loved the show. She didn't want to leave. I would definitely take her again :)

Franklin is great for toddlers! The live Franklin show was just the right length of time and really entertaining.
MameJ from Calgary
All I can say is that it was really cute. Everybody was excellent in their acting especially the mice and the story teller knight. Amazing. Good Job guys.
Katie1983 from Calgary
Franklin was amazing! This was our second time seeing Franklin live. I thought this show was great. Good lessons learned for the kids.
momone from Calgary
Very nice story; very good show; great actors!!! We have always enjoyed the Franklin story books and characters so were immediately attracted to this production. The backdrops were very well done. Only negative comment would relate to the fact that it wasn't always clear who was "talking". Might have been good to have moving mouth kind of costumes?? The story teller had a great voice, and the "mice" were fun to watch. Bravo!!
Tini from Calgary
Frankly was very cute. Cute show, not too long so the kids attention span was fine during the performance. Message of the show was positive and happy. Music was great.
TriMommy from Calgary
The show was very good and entertaining. Both our girls really enjoyed and it kept their attention throughout, especially our 2 year old who doesn't like to sit still for any period of time, ha ha ha. It was a good mix of storytelling and music to keep their interest going. We enjoyed the narrative by the other characters as well. The only thing we would've liked to have had would have been for the children to meet and greet the characters after the show and be able to take pictures of t

The kids really enjoyed the show! And they can't wait until another Franklin show comes back.

Great kids show! Franklin was a great afternoon out for kids. Most kids were 3-6 years old. The show was a nice mellow affair featuring a story which taught the values of friendship, sharing, loyalty and compassion. The songs that were sung were catchy and kids were encouraged to clap along. The storyline was easy to follow, even for the smallest spectators. Overall a really great "theatre" experience for the whole family... My son is still talking about it.
YYCmom from Calgary
I recently took my 3 yr old daughter to the Franklin show. She absolutely loved it. The singing, costume, and story line were all excellent. We've been to a couple of shows with her but by far the best show... A must see! Only thing that would have been nice would be a meet and greet with characters.
Haywire from Saskatoon
The family enjoyed the story/play very much. Characters where played excellent. Fun to watch something with so much happiness and smiles. Kept the interest of the three year old for the whole show, and the six year old; both focused and entertained with the story to the end. Great job done by all.
DadGreat from Saskatoon
This was a great play for the little ones. We went to "Little Bear" a couple of months ago, and this was very similar. The costumes were great and the voices were very, very close to the characters on tv. My daughter liked the show and so did I.
Bspeel from Winnipeg
Franklin Rocks! My daughter and I have never actually seen an episode of Franklin, and she still had a blast. She knows who Franklin is but no one else. The play did not require us to have background knowledge of the show to enjoy it. It kept her attention the whole time! The play was interactive and we gladly participated! The costumes were nice and colorful. Also, the play made attempts at teaching kids the meaning of some words which I definitely appreciate!

Franklin was amazing! My son who is 20 months was dancing and clapping along, he loves the Franklin cartoon and was really into it!!!
Kittie101 from Winnipeg
Storyline was quite good and acting itself was well done (acting to a recording can be tough). Intermission was a perfect length for the families as well.
HockeyBrent from Winnipeg
My 2 yr old loved it! My very active 2 yr old was on the edge of his seat through the whole performance. He was able to follow the storyline, clapped, and laughed! Yet it was also an enjoyable story for my husband and I.
